Project Pie: Another Reason to Love Pizza

My husband and I became curious as we passed by Project Pie along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong.  Its few parking slots in front were all occupied by cars and people seem to be having fun inside.  Since the pizza place was jam packed, we decided that we’ll go there some other time.

And that time came.  But at a different branch—in Bluebay Walk, EDSA Macapagal, Pasay City.  We grabbed the chance to spend our time there because we saw some vacant tables.  A friendly staff (whom I forgot the name), handed us a flyer so that we’ll get to know more about Project Pie.

Grab this one from their friendly staff if you're a first timer!
As first timers, she recommended us to order any of their bestsellers—Numbers 2, 5, 6 and 7.  But if you are an adventurous kind of pizza eater, you can just make your own!  Just choose between red (tomato based) pizza or white (in olive oil) pizza.  So my husband and I became excited.  He lined up to order, while I looked for a cozy spot.
You order, you pay, wait for your name to be called (while you can drop by the drinks area to fill up your cup and go back as many times as you want!), and then get your order, and ENJOY!

They make your order right before your eyes!

Toppings galore!

Choose from these toppings for your custom made pizza :)

Go kuya! :D

Order bottled drinks separately..

What we ordered is a half-half serving of numbers 2 (Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Crumbled Meatballs, Mozzarella, Project Pie’s Signature Red Sauce, Garlic) and 6 (Grilled Chicken, Sliced RedOnion, Cilantro, Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, BBQ Sauce).  The Pizza comes in a rectangular steel plate, lies on a paper mat, with our order and Zham’s name written on it (as usual, it was wrongly spelled as “Sam”).

For our sidings, we ordered one serving of Mixed Greens Salad (Mixed Greens, Grilled Chicken—again, Feta, Craisins, and Candied Walnuts in Raspberry Vinaigrette).  For our drinks, Zham got his unsweetened tea mixed with peach flavored tea; while mine was peach flavored tea as my first, then four seasons drink as my second drink.

Just right for the two of us! :)
We shared on the pizza and salad, and they were just right for us both.  We are exerting efforts to control our eating habits as part of our Balik Alindog Program. Hehehe. We also jog and juice up some fruits and veggies at home.  Eating sessions like this should be really taken into moderation, though Project Pie, for me, their foods are suitable for us who are trying to shed some pounds.  Like Uncle Cheffy, Project Pie became our instant favorite.

The Mixed Greens Salad in Raspberry Vinaigrette is rave-worthy.  The craisins, candied walnuts and raspberry dressing made me think of the salad that I tasted way back 2011 in McDonalds in Canada, just less the sunflower seeds.

DND. LOL
With Project Pie’s cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and thumbs up food, we’ll definitely go back!  Project Pie gave me another reason to love pizza even more, with less guilt, pounds-wise.

burp.

    1. Hi Chat! Thanks for dropping by. Hmmm... If you're an average eater, you can share over an order of pizza (2 slices each) and and order of salad, then your drink. So that's--(285+225)/2 + 65 = 320... more or less P350 :)
